Meet Laura, Dr. Rodman’s Research Fellow, Medical Assistant, and Scribe! Laura is originally from Bogotá, Colombia, came to Houston at the age of 12, and has moved between Houston and Mexico since then. Laura is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) which means she is a licensed physician in Mexico. She studied medicine at UAG- Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She is preparing to present her medical boards in the US and pursue her specialization in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Outside of work at Face Forward, she is a dog sitter & foster mom. She also loves plants & gardening- she’s currently growing tomatoes, peppers, basil, lettuce and more.
